Coordinative meeting in the Special Instute Demir Kapija for the course of preparation of the users for the deinstitutionalization process with representatives of the Macedonian Montessori Association

On 31.08.2021, in the premises of the Special Institute Demir Kapija, a coordinative meeting was held with representatives from the project “Together for more introduction of more opportunities and respect“ - TIMOR, a representative of the Macedonian Montessori Association engaged in the process of preparation of the users from DKSI for the deinstitutionalization process and representatives of Demir Kapija Special Institute.

The project activities related to the resettlement of the users from the Special Institution Demir Kapija are in progress and are guided by the expert organisation Macedonian Montessori organisation with the resettlement team of the Institute.

The aim of the meeting was to review some administrative aspects for the personal resettlement plans of the users, as well as the status of the preparation activities of the users and their progress and the estimated time-frame for their resettlemet in the first three group homes in Demir Kapija, Negotino and Veles.

The partner organisations expressed their satisfaction with the progress of the project activities, the adaptation of the living conditions and the progress in the preparation of the users.
